Change expected returns for all investments in this account by their asset classes.

Below your investment list, a button allows you to change the expected returns for all investments by their asset classes. This is useful if you have lots of investments, to quickly change the default rates applied for a new scenario in the TIME MACHINE.

You set the rates for equities (capital gains, dividends), fixed-income, and cash, and these apply to each investment proportionally to its allocation to those asset classes. You can also select if the "Cash" investment will also be modified (its asset allocation is set to 100% cash, so the rate for "Cash and equivalents" will be set). Yields for capital distributions and return of capital distributions are also not modified.

You should first review the asset allocations of the investments to make sure these are correct, then review the rates applied after running the tool. If you need to make a change you can link to the actual investment edit page. There, you can also opt-out the investment (except Portfolios) if you never want its rates modified by this tool .
