U.S. Social Security Table
We require the Earnings on which you contributed to U.S. Social Security by year. You may be able to get your Social Security information at www.ssa.gov/myaccount but they now require you to authenticate with an address in the U.S. If you can log in to that site, go to the "Earnings Record" tab. You can enter the amount for "Taxed Social Security Earnings" manually for each year, or copy and paste the table from the SSA website to fill out the table automatically.
If you don't have a paper record of your Social Security statement, or can't log in to the www.ssa.gov site, then you can call them to request a statement
If you have already started U.S. Social Security: We still require your earnings record because the pension amount may change in the future due to WEP and GPO, and we also need it to accurately calculate spousal benefits. If you have already started the benefit and know it will not change, you can enter it as two entries in INCOMES. You can enter 85% of the gross amount in Canadian dollars as an 'Other' Income, taxable as income, and the other 15% as an 'Other' income, not-taxable. You will also need to uncheck the "Have U.S. Social Security Earnings" box in your PROFILE.
