Review and Update all Investments
The list of all your entered investments in all accounts is also a web form that can be handy to quickly update investment prices and shares manually. You can sort the table by account or by date of the last valuation (or by any other column) by clicking the sort symbol in the column header. For any investment where the price has not been updated in a month, the last valuation date will be red. The date will automatically update if you change a value.
In the table, you can edit the date of valuation, the shares, the market value, the book value, the yields, and the fees. The values are in the account currency and the currency symbol is shown, but you do not need to enter the currency symbol. The input boxes for currency values are quite forgiving with respect to input format, so you should be able to cut and paste values from your brokerage or bank account websites without too much difficulty. Changes made in this web form are automatically saved.
There is a link to the investment edit page if you need to change other properties of the investment. Although it will take you to that investment’s edit page, once you’re done with your edits and click Save and Continue, it will bring you back to your list of all investments at the same position so you can continue to edit other investments.
You can download your list of investments to a spreadsheet using the 'Download table for Excel' button. If you have many investments to update, you may want to make changes in the spreadsheet and then use the 'Update from a spreadsheet' feature to upload your changes (see the help for that page).
