Investments

Each account has a Cash investment created automatically. You cannot delete the Cash investment, since it is required for all accounts in the MoneyReady App. You cannot change its name, nor can you have another investment in the same account named "Cash". It will hold the balance of the account when you created it, and you can "withdraw" from that investment to buy other investments if you like. If there are deposit, withdrawal or maintenance fees for the account, enter them as fees in the cash account (in the currency of the "Cash" Investment.

To add an investment, click on the appropriate button for the investment's currency (the currency it's traded in).

We use FUNData to update prices every day to their closing price for north-american stocks, ETFs and Canadian mutual and segregated funds. Updates happen late in the day, and shold be complete by about 10pm Toronto time.

For any investment, if the valuation date is in red, the valuation date of the investment is more than a month old. Please update the value of the investment if appropriate.

When available, up to 5 year historical growth chart of the investments is shown (assuming reinvested dividends and income). The pie charts below display the distribution of investments.
