Review and Edit Accounts

This page provides an alternate way to review and edit several accounts quickly. Each account is displayed on a card showing its balance in Canadian dollars and the properties relevant to its account type.

Use the View menu to display all accounts, newly imported Wealthica accounts that need review, or accounts that need a yearly review. When all accounts are displayed, newly imported accounts that still need review appear first.

Each account is validated and saved independently. Changes are saved when you finish changing a field, or you can click Save account. Wait for the Saved message before leaving the page. Any errors will be shown on the account card.

When an account type can be changed, the fields needed for the selected type will appear automatically. Converting a non-registered account to a registered account cannot be undone. Changing the account type or owner may also require you to review your deposit and withdrawal priorities.

RESPs and RDSPs have more complicated beneficiary and contribution information. Their cards show a summary; use Edit full details to make changes.

Review the account type, owner, beneficiary and any other information shown for each newly imported account. An account marked Needs review must be saved before its review is complete. Some features of the MoneyReady App will continue to return you to this page until all newly imported accounts have been reviewed.

The yearly-review filter includes RRIFs, LIFs, RESPs, RDSPs and U.S. IRA/Roth accounts. Use it to update applicable year-end balances, withdrawals, contributions, grants and other yearly information.

Save All is available under Bulk actions in the bottom navigation bar. It saves only the accounts displayed by the current filter with the currently displayed values. You will be asked to confirm first. Any blank Cash growth rate for a visible account will be saved as 0, so review the displayed accounts carefully before continuing.

Use Edit full details for the account’s complete form or Edit investments to view its investments. An account can be deleted only when it is not linked to another entry. Deleting a Wealthica account from this page also prevents it from being imported again.
