Review Loans

Use this page to review and update the current balances and most frequently changed terms for all your loans in one place. Each loan is shown on a separate card.

Each card shows the loan type, name, currency, current balance, borrower and lender. It also shows any property or investment account linked to the loan.

The Wealthica logo identifies a loan linked to Wealthica.

For a loan that is not linked to Wealthica, enter the current amount outstanding in the currency shown on the loan card. The TIME MACHINE assumes that this is the loan balance on the date it is run, so it should be kept up to date.

The balance of a Wealthica-linked loan is displayed but cannot be changed on this page because it is updated from Wealthica.

For a fixed-rate loan, enter the quoted annual interest rate.

For a variable-rate loan or line of credit, enter the adjustment to the Prime rate. For example, enter -0.5 for Prime minus 0.5%, or 1 for Prime plus 1%.

For an amortizing loan, you can update the regular payment amount and payment frequency. The payment is entered in the currency shown on the loan card.

Each loan is saved separately. Click Save loan on the card after reviewing or changing its values. Any validation errors will be shown beside the affected fields.

Select Edit full details when you need to change information not available on this page, such as the dates, borrower, lender, currency, term or linked property or account.

A loan marked Needs review does not yet have all its required information. This may occur after a loan is imported from Wealthica. Select Edit full details to complete it.
