Review data and run the TIME MACHINE

A pre-flight check is performed for the TIME MACHINE to make sure that it has all of the information it needs.

Without passing this pre-flight check, you will not be able to run the TIME MACHINE. Please go back to the dashboard and enter any missing information.

You can the click on one of the buttons below to launch a run of the tool selected. There are currently 8 options:

  1. Run TIME MACHINE
  2. Run TIME MACHINE with Market crashes. Simulate equity market crashes.}. If you have not already set up market crashes, it will be a link to set it up in RATES/YIELDS/CURRENCIES.
  3. Run TIME MACHINE with Market Model Simulation. Runs a single market model simulation. If you have not already set up the market model simulation you would like to use, it will be a link to set one up in RATES/YIELDS/CURRENCIES.
  4. CHOOSE YOUR LEGACY. Determine how to adjust EXPENSES to not have cash-flow problems and leave the amount of liquid-legacy you desire.
  5. TIME MACHINE + WITHDRAWAL OPTIMIZER. Optimize withdrawals from accounts in retirement. It's best to first run the TIME MACHINE, and you can then optimize as a second step so you can compare the results, but this combines the 2 steps.
  6. CPP/QPP and WITHDRAWAL OPTIMIZER. Finds the optimal age to start CPP/QPP, and OAS in some cases. When applicable, as this option is not shown if CPP/QPP/OAS have already started or are set to be ignored.
  7. Run 100 Market Model Simulations. Runs a Monte Carlo simulation with 100 runs of the Market Model.
  8. Parameter SCAN. You can vary the values or dates for most of the entries in your scenario. Pre-built canned SCANS are also provided.
Options 1, 2, and 3 run a single TIME MACHINE and are available in the free trial. The other options require a paid subscription, and can be quite slow as they can require many runs of the TIME MACHINE and advanced algorithms. Please be patient. A progress-bar is shown in all cases so you can track the progress of your run.
