I am wondering if there are references/best practices/documented averages to use to estimate future expenses? What should one expect for univesity fees? ..For assisted living fees? etc
Obviously, expenses are dictated by each individuals lifestyle choices but I would like to try and get the best results from time machine projections. Right now, I have post retirement expenses set at ~76% of our current pre-retirement expenses and in the distant future in our 80's I added assisted living expenses while reducing our expenses assuming we would be less active but I am not confident in what assisted living should cost!
